This OUTER WILDS pendant centers around a natural piece of quartz or stone that has been carefully split and half-polished to reveal two distinct faces of the same mineral. One side preserves the rugged exterior of the stone exactly as it formed in the earth—textured, weathered, and untouched. The opposite side is cut and polished to expose the smooth crystalline interior normally hidden beneath the surface.
Set within a simple metal frame, the stone becomes a study in contrast between wild geology and deliberate shaping. When worn, the pendant can be flipped to reveal either surface: the raw, mountain-born exterior or the luminous, polished interior. This duality reflects the character of the landscapes from which these stones originate—harsh and unrefined at first glance, yet revealing remarkable structure and clarity when opened.
Each stone carries its own mineral patterns, inclusions, and subtle variations in color and transparency. Because every piece of quartz fractures differently, no two pendants share the same shape or internal landscape. Each pendant therefore becomes a one-of-a-kind geological artifact, capturing both the outer skin of the earth and the crystalline architecture hidden within it.

Ethical Sourcing & Care
All stones used in these pendants are responsibly sourced and shaped by the artist. Natural inclusions, fractures, and variations are part of the stone’s character and not defects. While quartz is durable, avoid hard impacts or dropping the pendant on stone or tile surfaces. Clean gently with a soft cloth and store in a dry place when not worn.
